IntelliSAW adds Integrated Meter and Humidity Sensing functionality to its asset monitoring system

Andover, MA, US - IntelliSAW, a leading provider of next generation wireless sensor systems for smart grid applications announced today that it is releasing to the market an integrated meter product that combines an HMI function with IntelliSAW's innovative sensor interrogation electronics, effectively reducing the number of components required to implement a complete system solution.

The IM485-INT also includes input for humidity sensors which afford the end-user the opportunity to conduct humidity and ambient temperature monitoring in parallel with IntelliSAW's SAW based temperature sensors. Moreover the IM485-INT operates from line power thereby eliminating the need for a separate power supply.

Tom Cunneen, CEO of IntelliSAW noted; "the IM485-INT further enhances the value proposition intrinsic to IntelliSAW's technology. By combing the system reader function with a full-featured HMI we have greatly simplified the system implementation process while bringing additional functionality to the end-user.
